In voiceover, everyone needs good ears – and that includes your computer.  Starting with the microphone, we have the industry workhorse, Sennheiser MKH416 to capture the voice with crystal clarity.

Recording should take place where it's truly quiet.  I have an acoustically treated space for recording so tranquility reigns supreme.

Getting that sound into the computer is the next hurdle.  Transforming those real-world good vibrations into the tasty 0s and 1s the computer lives, on takes an interface for the microphone cable on one end and usb cable on the other, with the AD/DA converter in the middle.  I am using the boutique beauty, Centrance PASport VO – a truly top tier piece of gear I am proud to have!

Now for all the sweet editing and processing.  For that, I use a MacBook Air running Adobe Audition.  No cutting corners here, so you can be confident of quality files coming your way!
